Record birds that died or left the flock
Record deaths, culls and other losses so your bird count stays right.
Every bird that leaves a flock is a reduction. Recording it the day it happens keeps Available birds accurate across the app.
- Open Flock from the menu.
- Tap the actions menu (three dots) on the flock.
- Tap Record reduction. You see the flock's Reduction records.
- Tap Add record, fill in the form and tap Save.
The fields
| Field | What to enter |

| Type | Why the birds left: Died, Culled, Sold, Taken by a predator, Stolen, Moved to another flock or Other. |
| Birds reduced | How many birds. |
| Reduced on | The day it happened. |
Birds recorded as Died also count towards Died today on the dashboard.
To correct or remove a reduction, use the actions menu on that record in Reduction records.
